Oink Oink.....

Ok, so i'll be brief.....i've been missing in action as I've been feeling a little rough and it was confirmed yesterday that I have Swine Flu.....gr8.
Joints hurt, head hurts, everything hurts.....
no appetite, no strength and generally just feeling totally wounded...
BUT......I must remain strong mentally and be fully prepared to jump back on the wagon once this minor setback passes.........

I'll be back........................

Dax Moys 30in30 challenge.....

Felt a bit bad today as I only drank 2 litres of water.....had lots of fruit though which was gr8. Also some avacado and some chicken and a few other ED friendly things.

Today my hubby commented that the slight dark circles I had under my eyes were starting to fade away and I began to wonder if this was down to my change in diet?? Was the sugar and all the other crap I was consuming messing with my skin that much?? All i could say/think is wow..what u put in really does manifest itself physically...whether it be dark circles, moodiness, fatigue, bad skin, etc etc...

I was reading a little of my husbands, 'Body for Life' book by.....(ok i can't be asked to go downstairs and check.....!) Bill something I think...
anywayz..there's a part in there where it says that your physically appearance is a reflection of how you live your life, or something along those lines....
I began to think about this and it is, sooo true....if you're lazy and can't be asked to exercise, cook healthy foods ad take the time to plan what you're putting into your 'temple' then there's a pretty high chance that the way you carry yourself at work, etc is pretty much the same whereby you work to the least of your capacity, you don't push yourself to achieve more and you generally just work to survive and pay the bills etc....

Doing this 30in30 challenge has really forced me to make more of an effort to check what I'm puttng into my body.... i only want to onsume the best of the best...not all that processed rubbish...

I'm already starting to think about what I will reintroduce once the 30 days is over, I know that sugar probably won't be high on the list!

Anyway....thats enough babbling from me.......off to bed now and hopefully my knees will feel alot better tomorrow..............

Dax Moys 30in30 Challenge
Day ?? I've lost count!

Well today has been pretty hectic....i woke up late AND slept thru the alarm so didn't do the first exercise....not happy about that.
Drinking 3-4 litres of water is a challenge for me...not because i don't like water, but because of the nature of my job......its not really a good look to be visiting a family because of Child Protection concerns and then asking them if you can use their toilet!!!

My work colleagues think i'm crazy not having any sugar, etc.....but to be honest with you I really enjoy my herbal teas now with no sugar......its gr8!!
After the 30 days I really want to commit to finding out more about nutrition, etc......and way in the back of my mind...deep deep down in my heart.....i think i'd like to take my training more seriously (is that even good english?) and start working towards becoming a Personal Trainer myself........considering where I'm at physically now, maybe thats a bit abitious!

I completed the Dumbell Matrix....and although i wasn't sweating as much as with the Pyramid...i could definetly feel it working..........

Looking forward to my fruit tomorrow....yum........

DAY 11 of Dax Moy's 30 in 30 challenge.....

Woke up this morning feeling really tired as I didn't get much sleep due to the heat.
Did my workout which was pretty slow due to feeling soooo tired.
Weighed myself and was happy to see that I've lost 2lbs including a few extra inches!

Was able to step up the water intake to about 2.5 litres which was good as I can literally feel my system being cleansed by the water and my skin is looking soooo clear.

That Pyramid workout is a killer but I'm glad that I'm able to complete it all in the time allowed!

Really struggling on the snacks though for low carb days....if i see another seed or nut....i will flip...lol lol......

I'm wondering if i will lose 30lbs or if it will just be inches....anyways i'm gonna stick with it so we'll just have to wait and see!!

Dax Moys 30 in 30 challenge.....

Today was not the best.... I was stuck in a meeting for a while trying to deal with a really complex Child Protection Case.
No water.....no snacks......nothing........(i had finished my water earlier)
After the meeting I was starving, thirsty, etc etc...

The workouts were good, however my knees are not luvin that blinkin spiderman at all.

The water consumption could probably be better (currently 2 litres) but i'm scared that i might get caught out on my drive home..lol lol lol...

The weight loss is still a bit slow, but the inches are still going down making it possible for me to fit into some of my old jeans!!

Dax Moys's 30 in 30 challenge.

Ok, so we couldn't weigh ourselves but suprisingly this inchloss is making such a difference to how my clothes fit yay!!!!
I tried on a pair of my pre 'preggie' jeans and hey prestow...i can do all the buttons up comfortably!

I was lovin' my fruit and the sweet potato today it was gr8...but alas it low carbs tomorrow..boo!!
Completed the P in 15mins and 11secs...not bad ange, not bad!!

I feel well withn myself, like all the gunk has been cleared out. My back is killing me for some reason though so i'll have to take it easy in the morning exercise session..

Off to bed now.......x

Day 100...lol

Today I worked from home...which was tricky with a one year old around. I had stir fry peppers and mushrooms along with some (2)organic chipolata sausages from M and S.
it tasted ok i guess, but I won't be buying them again and thats the truth.......lol

This no carbs/low carbs malarkey is not for me, but I pushed thru it all the same.......as with the P exercise. The sweat was dripping I tell u!!

Still feeling tired but definetly feeling stronger. Weight stayed the same,but lost inches off of the thighs and hips.....
